Edward Trimmier, DMD, MEdS

Edward Trimmier, DMD, MEdS is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Dentistry in recognition of his role as Dentist and Anesthesiologist at Edward Trimmier DMD.

Having established his own private practice in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area, Dr. Edward Trimmier has provided services to the tri-state area for over twenty four years.

Well versed in all facets of dentistry, Dr. Trimmier has attained extensive expertise in the areas of Cosmetic Dentistry, Pain Management, and Anesthesiology. As a dental anesthesiologist, Dr. Trimmier has established himself as a prominent professional in the field. Inspired to enter the field of dentistry because his Dad was a Stanford Engineer, Dr. Trimmier wanted to combine working with his hands and his love for science. When asked his advice to newcomers in the industry, Dr. Trimmier emphasizes the importance of “studying a lot, think in three dimensions and have good eye-hand coordination.” Dr. Trimmier attributes his success to his self fulfilling enjoyment of what he does.

Early in his career, Dr. Trimmier attended Boston University graduating with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1994. In his previous years, Dr. Trimmier attained a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Religion and Neuroscience at Wofford College. Thereafter, Dr. Trimmier would then go on to obtain his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at Converse College in 1989.

In an effort to further enhance his professional development, Dr. Trimmier is an esteemed member of several organizations including the International and American Associations for Dental Research, the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

When he is not working, Dr. Trimmier enjoys going to the beach and swimming, biking, playing golf, and playing with his son Gavin.
