Heather Kessler-Reyes, MD, MPH, FCCP is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Medicine as a Pulmonologist at Pulmonary & Sleep Associates of South Florida.
With over 13 years of experience in pulmonary critical care medicine and having served in her current position for over 7 years, Dr. Kessler-Reyes joined Pulmonary & Sleep Associates of South Florida after completing her Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship. Specializing in sleep disorders as well as Pulmonary and critical care, Dr. Kessler-Reyes is affiliated with Delray Medical Center, Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Bethesda Hospital East through her current employer. Diagnosing, evaluating, and treating patients suffering with pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, emphysema and other pulmonary-related complications, Dr. Kessler-Reyes also manages patients who have lung or breathing complications, sleep apnea and other disorders that affect breathing.
Throughout her education and training, Dr. Kessler-Reyes received her Medical degree from the Technion Institute of Technology Faculty of Medicine in Haifa, Israel in 2004. Following this, Dr. Kessler-Reyes completed an internship, residency, and fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY in 2005, 2007, and 2010 respectively. Dr. Kessler-Reyes is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Neuro Critical Care.
To further her professional development, Dr. Kessler-Reyes is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Physicians, the Florida Medical Association and the Palm Beach County Medical Association. She has participated as research associate at several different locations such as Winthrop University Hospital, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Boston University Medical Center, Boston University School of Public Health, Massachusetts Department of Public Health and State University of New York Health Science Center. Giving back to the community, Dr. Kessler-Reyes also conducts volunteer work at medical clinics locally.
In acknowledgement of her professional achievements, Dr. Kessler-Reyes holds honors as the Clinical Assistant Instructor to Stonybrook School of Medicine and as sub-investigator for Pulmonary Clinical Trials at Winthrop.
