Julio Morales-Galarreta, M.D., is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Leading Psychoanalyst for his outstanding contributions in the field of Medicine.
A psychoanalyst at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute, Dr. Molares-Galaretta is dedicated to working to promote mental health through psychoanalytic education and practice. He specializes in child, adolescent, and adult psychoanalysis as well as training and supervision. He has been working as a psychiatrist since 1966. When not practicing himself, Dr. Morales-Galarreta also practices as a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics with the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Throughout his education and training, Dr. Morales-Galarreta received his Doctor of Medicine degree and completed his internship at the National University of Trujillo in Peru. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis, and Child Psychoanalysis, Dr Morales-Galarreta completed his adult psychiatric residency at Fairfield Hills Hospital in Connecticut and his fellowship in child psychiatry at Washington University.
To further his professional development, Dr. Morales-Galarreta is a member of AMA, American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child Psychiatry, American Analytical, and Association for Child Analysis.
When not working, Dr. Morales-Galarreta enjoys biking and golfing.
