Dr. Patricia Ann Broderick

An elegant mixture of determination, dedication, and humility, Dr. Patricia Ann Broderick has and continues to revolutionize the field of Medicine and Science with her innovations and explorations into matters of the mind.

One of the core reasons Dr. Broderick has remained so relevant in her field is her combination of ingenuity and adventuresomeness. A pioneer in the medical industry, she has forged a path adorned with countless accomplishments.

Dr. Brockerick has multiple companies. An acclaimed medical scientist, Dr. Broderick is renowned for inventing, developing, and patenting a series of nanobiosensors as well as the electrical circuits which direct the sensing work of the nanobiosensor. Her website reads, “With this biosensor, physicians and scientists can now look right inside the living brain in real-time to determine why we behave the way we do in nature, and then it compares the normal/natural neurochemical profile for the animal or human with the profile that occurs when stricken with a brain and/or peripheral disorder.” The biosensor is smaller than a human hair and its imaging process occurs within seconds and milliseconds. In laymen’s terms, she has invented an entire system to map what is happening in our brains at any moment and has provided the chance to see it as it is unfolding. Her invention is revolutionizing the way we understand the brain. Future applications of Broderick Probe have yet to even be realized. She advises her colleagues, peers, and those just breaking into the field to, “Discern your legacy accurately and do not make hasty, ill-advised steps. Be patient. Never make enemies. And if one comes your way, turn it around. Pay no attention to negativity and accept it as constructive criticism whether it’s meant as constructive or not.” For her, it is not about reacting to the journey. It is more about being proactive as to where she intends her destination to be.
