Bart Barlogie, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Hematology as a Retired Hematologist at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Barlogie had more than 50 years’ experience in the field of hematology. Hematology is the branch of medicine concerned with the study of the cause, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases related to blood. His areas of expertise are lymphoma and myeloma personalizing treatment plans for each patient based on their diagnosis. To prepare for his professional career Dr. Barlogie attended the University of Heidelberg located in Germany and earned his Medical Degree and where he also completed his post graduate studies.
A published author, he has shared his breadth of knowledge in over 75 books chapters and over 600 peer reviewed articles. He has been honored with an award from Giants of Cancer Care as the Director of Myeloma Institute.
During his free time outside of work, he enjoys reading and spending time with his wife of 43 years Kathy, and their three children Brina, Eva and Bart and their grandchildren Oliver and Charley.
