Devang P. Desai, MD, FACS, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Otolaryngology as a Partner, Physician and Medical Director of the Audiology Division at ENT Clinics of San Antonio.
ENT Clinics of San Antonio consists of a family of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and several residency trained medical professionals. Together they are dedicated to presenting their patients with compassionate and cost-effective health care. With thirteen physicians on-site, ENT Clinics of San Antonio offer services such as Audiology services and State-of-the-Art Hearing Aid Technology, treatments and services for head and neck cancer, Speech Therapy, and Allergy testing and treatments.
Devang P. Desai is a double board-certified in both Otolaryngology and Otolaryngical Allergy. With 25 years’ experience in the ENT field, Dr. Desai has been with the ENT Clinics of San Antonio for 19 years with expertise in thyroid surgery, rhinology, and all ENT issues. Typical ENT problems he sees in patients can be Tinnitus (Ringing in the Ears) Tonsils and Adenoid Problems, Dizziness Dysphagia (Difficulty Swallowing), ear infections, gastric reflux, and hearing loss.
Graduating with honors in medical school with the University of Illinois Chicago Medical School, Dr. Desai easily earned his Medical Degree. He moved on to Northwestern University, for his Bachelor of Science in Neurosciences also graduating with honors. He returned to the University of Illinois Medical Center for his residency training in Otolaryngology and continued education in another otolaryngology residency with the Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago.
A nominee for the Leading Physicians of the World in 2017, Dr. Desai has been named San Antonio Magazine’s Top Doctor consecutively from 2018- 2020. He remains affiliated with the AMA, the Bexar County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Society. He is also an invited Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology and often donates to the INDO Physicians Society (Junior Volunteer Division).
He would like to dedicate his success to his colleague and mentor Gilbert Ruiz, MD and credit to his staff for all their hard work.
Dr. Desai has been happily married to Mrs. Mona Desai for 26 years; he dedicates his success to his wife and in loving memory of his father Pravin Desai, Ph.D.
