Dr. James Reid Watson has 27 years’ experience in the field as an Orthopedic Surgeon with Beaver Medical Group. His areas of expertise are in General Surgery, and the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles, and the Lower Extremity.
With an Undergrad degree from Temple University, Dr. Watson went on to earn his Medical Degree from Drexel University. Following medical school, He completed an Internship at Cleveland University and a residency at Case Western. A noted member of the American Academy Orthopedic Surgery, and American College of Surgeons, Dr. Watson has been also been honored with the Castle Connelly Award.
Outside of his everyday responsibilities Dr.Watson enjoys cooking BBQ, and travel and spending time with his wife Victoria, and their children Randall, Marianne, Peter, Leo, Amy, Graham, and their 10 grandchildren and one the way. Dr. James Reid Watson dedicates his success to his mentor Dr. Sid Goldman.
