Princeton & Rutgers Neurology and their team of physicians provide the highest quality of care in diagnosing and treating a variety of neurological disorders such as Migraines, Alzheimer’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Strokes, Tremors, Dizziness and Balance, Neuromuscular, and Movement Disorders to name a few.
Board-certified in neurology and epilepsy, Dr. Dixit has 17 years of experience as a physician and nine years’ experience in her current position as a Partner and Neurologist at Princeton & Rutgers Neurology. Her focus with her patients along with regular neurology practice dealing with the anatomy, functions, and organic disorders of nerves and the nervous system, also is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy. As a partial owner of the company, Dr. Dixit makes many business decisions on how to run the practice. More importantly, she is in charge of epilepsy within the group overseeing EEGs, video EEGs, and the monitoring and reading of the studies and the patients within the group providing knowledge and guidance for patients and to provide a source of support for our community.
To further advance as a Neurologist, Dr. Seema Dixit received her Bachelor of Sciences in biology and chemistry from the Stevens Institute of Technology and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Following her degree, Dr. Dixit completed an Internship at Graduate Hospital Philadelphia and a later invited for a Neurology residency and Epilepsy fellowship both from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences (Brooklyn). Since medical school, Dr. Dixit developed affiliations with the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, AMA, and American Osteopathic Association.
Princeton and Rutgers Neurology has been in practice for many years made up of many talented neurologists. The founders of the group have been great mentors and have inspired Dr. Dixit professionally. Her goal for the future is to expand Princeton and Rutgers Neurology with continued recruiting of excellent physicians and NPs, PAs.
