Terrence D. Julien, MD is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Neurosurgeon in the field of Medicine for his professional excellence and leadership at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Having accrued 15 years of professional excellence throughout his medical career, Dr. Julien is a widely-recognized neurosurgeon, currently practicing at St. John’s Hospital. He is a fellowship-trained and board-certified surgeon, offering a vast repertoire of expertise in neurooncology, complex and minimally invasive spine surgery, and robotics. Prior to his current role, he had devoted the past 15 years serving patients within the Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Julien has flourished in the world of academics. He has held several professorships in neurosurgery at the West Virginia University School

of Medicine in Morgantown; Marshal University in Huntington, West Virginia; and at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Julien’s medical career began after he obtained his Medical Degree with the Howard University College of Medicine at Syracuse, then completed his neurology residency training at SUNY Health Science Center and NYU Medical Center. He also completed his general surgery internship at the Medical Center of Delaware/Christiana Care Health System. Furthering his training, he served as a Neurosurgical Oncology Fellow (research) at Memorial Sloan Kettering Center and later completed his training at Neuro-Oncology Fellow/Instructor, USF/H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Julien is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

Remaining abreast of the latest advancements in his field, Dr. Julien maintains active memberships with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), and the North American Spine Society (NASS).

Dr. Julien dedicates this honorable recognition to his parents Selwan and Thelma Julien, as well as Dr. Charles Hodge Jr, Dr. Patrick Kelly, and Dr. Paul Coup.
