Stanley Lowell Fox, MD, FAAD

Stanley Lowell Fox MD, FAAD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Lifetime Achiever in the field of Dermatology, and acknowledges his outstanding achievement as a dermatologist at his practice, Stanley Lowell Fox, MD, Inc.

As a well-established and seasoned dermatologist, Dr. Fox has garnered 50 years of expert medical knowledge and professional experience. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, having served as a medical officer during the Vietnam War. In his current capacity, Dr. Fox offers personalized treatment solutions for patients in Ohio. He specializes in all areas of Dermatology, and focuses on the treatment of skin cancers. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Fox serves in his positions of Chief of Dermatology at University Hospitals, Richmond Heights, and as Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at Case-Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Fox earned a BA degree from Western Reserve University (now Case-Western University), in 1960, and his MD degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1964. He completed his internship program in 1965, at Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland. Following his tour of duty with the United States Navy, Dr. Fox completed his residency program in Dermatology in 1970, at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital (now called MetroHealth Medical Center). With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Fox became board- certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology in 1972.

A prestigious Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), Dr. Fox remains abreast of the latest innovations and developments in his field. He also maintains active memberships and affiliations with professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Ohio Dermatological Association, and the Cleveland Dermatological Society, where he served as president from 1981 to 1983.

In recognition of his professional excellence, Dr. Fox has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his long and distinguished career. He received two Presidential Citations from the Ohio Dermatology Association, in both 1988 and 1991. Among his many achievements, Dr. Fox is proud to have served as an STD Consult for the City of Cleveland. He is a respected voice in his field, and has written many HIV resolutions for the Ohio State Medical Association, including mandatory HIV testing and treatment of pregnanT women for HIV, that was later adopted by the American Medical Association. This alone saved thousands of infants from contracting HIV. In his spare time, Dr. Fox enjoys sketching, drawing, landscaping, and gardening.
