As a distinguished, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Handal has led a remarkable career, having practiced in the field of plastic surgery in private practice for 27 years. He dedicates his practice to the field of aesthetic plastic surgery and offers a vast repertoire of expertise in all areas of plastic surgery. When he is practicing medicine, he demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and integrity, as well as provides top quality plastic surgery services. He performs all of his surgeries at Sanctuary Surgical Center and is one of the only plastic surgeons in the area that perform their surgeries at an ambulatory surgery center regulated by the Board of Medicine. Alongside seeing patients at his practice, Dr. Handal has offered his expertise at the Boca Raton Community Hospital for 20 years. Additionally, he is a published author committed to sharing details about his surgical procedures.

An academic scholar, Dr. Handal had excelled in his courses and extensive training. His acclaimed career began after he obtained his Medical degree from UHS Medical School. Soon thereafter, he completed an internship at Maimonides Medical Center, followed by a general surgery residency at the State University New York / Kings County Hospital Center, where he focused on plastic surgery, and an additional residency at Maimonides Medical Center. On completion of his residency, he continued his surgical training with prestigious fellowships in hand surgery at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut and aesthetic surgery in association with the University of Miami. Dr. Handal is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Remaining at the forefront of his field, Dr. Handal is in constant pursuit to stay up-to-date with the latest medical developments. He attends the major plastic and aesthetic surgery meetings several times a year to bring the latest techniques and innovations to his practice. Additionally, he maintains active memberships with several prestigious professional organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Faculty of American College of Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Palm Beach County Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Florida Medical Association, the Palm Beach County Medical Society, the Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

In his spare time, Dr. Handal enjoys spending time with family and traveling. He is also passionate about giving back, and in the past has volunteered overseas in India.
