Leonard J. Pianko, MD, PA, FACC, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Cardiology in acknowledgment for his devotion to patient-centered care as a Cardiologist with his practice, Aventura Cardiovascular Center.

Dr. Leonard Pianko and the dedicated staff of his medical practice offer preventative, emergent, and rehabilitative cardiovascular care. A board-certified cardiologist with heart, Dr. Pianko has garnered over 30 years of expert knowledge and professional experience. He specializes in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases or conditions of the heart and blood vessels and the cardiovascular system. These conditions include heart attacks, heart murmurs, coronary heart disease, and hypertension. Dr. Pianko also practices preventative medicine, helping patients maintain a heart-healthy life. He attributes his success to paying attention to detail and his commitment to caring about people.

To prepare for his career, Dr. Pianko received his Medical degree from Mt. Sinai Medical School in 1982. He went on to complete an internship and residency in cardiovascular medicine at Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

Remaining abreast of the latest industry developments, Dr. Pianko maintains active memberships with the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association. He is devoted to contributing to various charitable organizations.
