Mae J. Laatsch

Mae J. Laatsch is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of   Education as a result of her role as an Instructor at Madison College. Madison College is the technical and community college for the greater Madison area. It is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality instruction and technical experience to meet the needs of its students, community and area employers. Madison College has more than 144 programs offering associate degrees, technical diplomas and certificates at eight convenient locations in Madison and four regional campuses.

Encompassing almost fifty years of experience in entrepreneurship and small business marketing, Mae specializes in marketing, event planning, public speaking, social networking, leadership, and more. She has been teaching business entrepreneurship at the college for forty-one years and is the executive director of Wisconsin Collegiate DECA. In addition, Mae volunteers as heart mentor for St. Mary’s Hospital, a speaker for Weight Management Surgery Information Session sponsored by Dean Clinic and Wisconsin Public Television as well. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, reading, and gambling.  Throughout the course of her studies, Mae received a Master’s of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Education from University of Northern Iowa. Mae also holds a lifetime teaching certification through the Wisconsin Technical College System Board.
