Dicy McCullough

Dicy McCullough is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Publishing as a result of Excellence as an Author, Writer, and Teacher. Dicy began her journey as a writer after retiring as a music teacher in 2006. She now writes a weekly blog about her favorite people, places and things and also writes a human interest column for a local newspaper, the Salisbury Post. In addition, Dicy specializes in writing children’s books.

Her latest series of “Tired Of” stories include Tired of the Bath; Tired of School; Tired of Being Different; and tired of being a Bully. These books are ideal rhyming books for teaching Literacy. Throughout her career as both an educator and writer, Dicy has worked in the areas of creative writing, book reviews, general music, storytelling, editing, newspapers, grammar, proofreading, content development, as  well as copy editing.  Dicy earned her BA in Music Education from Gardner-Webb University, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Education from UNC Charlotte.
