Wendy J. Buckley is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of 
Environmental Services. Wendy is the President and Founder of Specialty Transportation and Regulatory Services. Specialty Transportation and Regulatory Services (STARS) is a consulting firm specializing in all aspects of hazardous waste management and hazardous materials transportation for rail, air, highway, vessel, and pipeline services.
As President and Founder, Wendy specializes in hazardous materials and hazardous waste management, environmental safety and compliance, safety management, inspection, transportation, project management and design, risk assessment, and more. With a multitude of knowledge acquired by her years of experience in the industry, Wendy is responsible for the oversight of daily business operations and client relations as well as marketing and the publication of STARS’ periodic newsletter, titled "Hazmat Chronicle".
A member of the National Association of Professional Women, Wendy received their 2014 Woman of The Year distinction. She is also a member of the Dangerous Goods Advisory Council (DGAC), Institute of Packing Professionals (IoPP), IoPP Chemical Packing Committee (CPC), National Industrial Transportation League (NITL), Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP), Midwest Association of Rail Shippers (MARS), Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Professionals (PAEP), New Jersey Short Line Railroad Association (NJSLRRA), and the SmallBiz Council Advisory Board. In addition, she was recognized as a 2014 Industry Leader through the National Association of Distinguished Professionals (NAPD) with a feature in the fall edition of The Women of DistinctionMagazine. Outside of work, she enjoys agility and rally training with her dog, bike riding, painting and spending time with her friends and family.
Wendy also spends time maintaining her fruit trees, vegetable and flower gardens. Furthermore, she holds a Master’s of Science degree in Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health from the University of Findlay and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Strayer University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
