Diana R. Oreck is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Hospitality as a result of her role as Vice President of the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center. With a career in hospitality spanning over three decades, it is safe to say Diana is a true hospitality professional. She has been educated and undergone extensive training in the industry in countries such as Mexico, England and Switzerland. In her current capacity as Vice President of the Leadership Center, she is responsible for leadership development, employee training and engagement, relationship building, strategic planning, performance management, budgets, and more.
Diana travels internationally on behalf of the Ritz-Carlton Corporate University where she teaches organizational culture transformation, legendary service and leadership in order to help manage and work closely with international clientele. With her extensive knowledge and experience of the industry and international relations, her duties include the oversight of The Leadership Center’s international clients all over the world, as well as the curriculum design of the latest leadership center offerings. Furthermore, Diana authored the training magazine application for the Training Top 125 companies’ competition in 2007, 2006, 2005 and 2004.
Throughout the course of her illustrious hospitality career, she has proven successful in her inclusion in the increase of Leadership Center revenue by over 50%. One of Diana’s biggest career accomplishments has been her recognition as one of the Top 100+ people in Learning and Development by Leadership Excellence Magazine in September 2008, and she was inducted into Training Magazine’s Training Hall of Fame in February 2008 as a direct result of her rank of No. 1 in 2007, No. 4 in 2006, No.9 in 2005 and No. 10 in 2004 of Training Magazine’s Training Top 125 companies. In addition, Diana is a member of the National Association for Female Executives, National Association of Professional Women, and serves on the Board of Credit Suisse Business School, as well as Kingston Healthcare, Inc. Outside of work, Diana enjoys kickbiking and reading. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Studies from The Lausanne Hotel School in Switzerland.
