Sandy Ott is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Public Safety as a result of her role as Director with Boyd County 911. The mission of Boyd County 911 is to serve the public, the emergency responders, and the community as a whole with both efficient and effective call handling and dispatching. Boyd County 911 strives to help secure the safety of the local community through quick dissemination of essential information. For nearly twenty five years, Sandy has been working for Boyd County where she specializes in the areas of emergency communications, finance, management and personnel services.
She is a Certified Public Safety Dispatcher, as well as a Certified Telecommunications Professional through the Department of Criminal Justice Training. In addition, Sandy maintains affiliation with the National Emergency Number Association, Association of Public Safety Communication Officials, and the National Association of Professional Women, where she was recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of The Year. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, blogging, reading, and travel. Sandy serves as Community Lay Director of the Ashland Area Emmaus Community, and is also involved in various activities through her local church.
