Debra J. Sheridan is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Higher Education. Debra 
is the Director of Technology with Miami Dade College.
As a state-supported college with seven campuses, two centers, and multiple outreach centers, Miami Dade College has over 165,000 students from an array of cultural backgrounds. The college strives to transform each and every student into successful lifelong learners and responsible, well-rounded citizens. As Director of Technology, Debra works closely with information and video technology, instructional design and technology, systems administration, leadership development, and more.
A member of the National Association of Professional Women, she was recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year. Debra’s advice to those starting out in the industry is to “pay attention, utilize resources, and don’t be afraid to ask questions.” Aside from the demands of work, she enjoys kayaking, reading, sailing and travel. In addition, Debra maintains affiliation with the Women’s Leadership Council, Girl Scouts, and United Way. Throughout the course of her education and training, she received a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University.
