Dr. Kenny R. Sinervo

Dr. Kenny R. Sinervo, M.D., MSc, FRCSC, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Medicine.

Dr. Sinervo is the President and Medical Director with The Center for Endometriosis Care. Founded in 1991, The Center for Endometriosis Care is composed of several Board Certified Laparoendoscopic Excision (LAPEX) surgeons and countless compassionate endometriosis specialists. Dedicated to delivering each patient with the utmost care and service, the center specializes in the complete surgical removal of endometriosis- not organs, through meticulous excision and dissection of disease with reproductive preservation whenever possible. As a foundation for this goal lies a caring and compassionate approach to interaction with patients from the beginning of their care and is on-going following surgery. Applying his fifteen years of experience in medicine, Dr. Sinervo’s areas of expertise include general gynecology, with an emphasis on endometriosis care and treatment, as well as performing minimally invasive surgeries.

 Recognized by Leading Physicians of the World, Dr. Sinervo was selected by the International Association of OB/GYN as a “Top Obstetrician and Gynecologist from Around the World”. He has been awarded Patient’s Choice Award 6 years in a row, an accomplishment that less than 1% of physicians in the country have achieved. In addition to the Patients’ Choice Award, Dr. Sinervo is the recipient of the Most Compassionate Doctor Award (2011-2013), Top Doctor in Atlanta (2012-2013) and Georgia (2014). He maintains professional ties with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. He is an accredited surgeon with the practice being recognized as a Center of Excellence of Minimally Invasive Gynecology. Less than 300 gynecologists have been recognized with this designation. He has been involved with the AAGL research committee and trained several Fellows in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, including excision of endometriosis.

 

Dr. Sinervo also collaborates in several research projects looking into optimal surgical management and outcomes of endometriosis surgery, and genetic factors associated with endometriosis, specifically looking into markers for endometriosis. He has presented and published work on several areas of obstetrics and gynecology, with particular interest in clinical endometriosis. Aside from the demands of work, Dr. Sinervo enjoys golf and travel. He also dedicates his time and charity to performing pro bono surgeries. Dr. Sinervo earned his Medical Degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in addition to his Residency at the University of Calgary and Fellowship training in Advanced Endoscopic Surgery and Minimally Invasive Gynecology at the Center for Women’s Care and Reproductive Surgery in Atlanta, GA.
