Dr. Darlene Magito McLaughlin

 Dr. Darlene Magito McLaughlin, Ph.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Psychology as a result of her role as Founder of Positive Behavior Support Consulting and Psychological Resources, PC.

 A seasoned mental health professional with over two decades of professional experience, Dr. Magito McLaughlin works closely in the areas of consulting, developmental psychology, applied behavior analysis, broad systems change, functional communication, and more. In this capacity, she works with children on the autism spectrum and provides them with the necessary tools to regulate their behavior for future success. Licensed and Board Certified in Behavior Analysis, Dr. Magito McLaughlin maintains affiliation with the American Psychological Association, ABAI, AIDD, APBS and the National Association of Professional Women.

 Throughout the course of her career, she has traveled the globe speaking on behavioral support issues and strategies. In addition, Dr. Magito McLaughlin has co-authored several publications that have been included in academic book chapters and empirical journals. Aside from the demands of work, she enjoys spending time with family, skiing and travel. Furthermore, Dr. Magito McLaughlin earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Stony Brook University, and holds both a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology and Bachelor’s Degree from Adelphi University.
