Carmel T. Ross

Carmel T. Ross, M.S., M.F.T., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Counseling as a result of her role as Marriage and Family Therapist with her private practice, Heaven Sent Consultation.

Harnessing over thirteen years of experience, Carmel’s areas of concentration include: family therapy, consultation and clinical supervision, life transitions and employment issues. A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she works with individuals and families, children and teenagers, as well as provides Christian and cultural counseling. Carmel works closely with clients struggling with parenting issues, as well as stress, trauma, grief, women’s issues, mood disorders, work-related issues, and more. To keep up with the latest advancements in the industry, Carmel maintains affiliation with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, East Bay Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Bay Area Black Mental Health Professional Network, Therapist of Color Peer Support Consultation Group, and the National Association of Professional Women, where she was recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year. Aside from the demands of work, Carmel enjoys shopping, traveling and spending time with family.

She volunteers with her local church and is an Ordained Elder as well. Throughout the course of her education and training, Carmel earned her Master of Science in Counseling from California State University- Hayward.
