Patrice Sentino

 Patrice Sentino, LCSW-BACS, ACSW, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Mental Health as a result of her role as CEO of Center for Hope Children and Family.

 Established in 2008, the Center for Hope Children and Family provides mental health counseling services to individuals, families and groups. With a team comprised of Board Certified Psychiatrists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Mental Health Professionals and Mental Health Specialists, the staff at the Center for Hope Children and Family offer their services to those in need in the surrounding New Orleans area. As CEO, Patrice currently works in the areas of addiction counseling, behavioral health services, case management, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and more. She dedicates her time to assist individuals within the community distressed by mental illness and emotional disturbance to work towards achieving their hopes, dreams and quality of life goals. In addition to her position with the center, Patrice is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Southern California, where she teaches policy and practice in social work organizations. Patrice is currently pursuing her Doctor of Social Work in Clinical Practice and Leadership from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Substance Abuse and Addiction Counseling from Southern University at New Orleans.

Throughout many challenges and a cumbersome lifestyle, Patrice has been able to balance an exceptional career, in which she participates in community activities and advocate for minorities and human rights of individuals throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Her outreach and commitment to families affected by HIV, mental illness, addictions and homelessness have been her passion and the driving force to her level of advocacy for hundreds of New Orleanians who have fought their challenges for years. As a clinician, educator and visionary, Patrice works toward impacting ever-changing communities throughout the greater New Orleans area through innovative, cutting edge ideas.

 

 To keep up with the latest advancements in mental health, Patrice maintains affiliation with the Academy of Certified Social Workers, Council on Social Work Education, National Association of Social Workers and the National Association of Professional Women, where she was recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year. Patrice’s hobbies and interests include attending her local church, spending time with family, reading, shopping and exercising. She is drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as ministry, helping the underprivileged and being involved in her community.
