Dr. Deb Lonzer, MD

Dr. Deb Lonzer, M.D., is recog- nized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Healthcare. Dr. Lonzer is the Department Chair of Community Pediatrics at Cleveland Clinic Children’s. Children’s is part of Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit multispecialty academic medical center combining clinical care with research and education and is responsible for care of hundreds of thousands of kids.

 

Dr. Lonzer is part of a team of over 300 pediatricians who deliver care and education around everything from preventive care to the cutting edge lifesaving techniques for the sickest infants. Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academic Pediatric Association, Dr. Lonzer has been working at the hospital for over two decades. In her current role she is responsible for the management and oversight of almost 100 pediatric providers in 19 sites. She is also an elected member of the Cleveland Clinic Board of Governors and has received awards for teaching and research. She is a member of multiple councils and sections of the AAP, around the topics of general pediatrics, community practice administration and telehealth and also holds membership in the American Association for Physician Leadership and the AMGA. The recipient of the Castle Connolly Best Doctors in America and Consumer Research Council of America Top Pediatrician awards, Dr. Lonzer is the author of “The Flushville Four,” a children’s potty training book. Dr. Lonzer earned her Medical degree from the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of the Pennsylvania State University as well as a BS in Biology from Bucknell University.
