Wendy L. Keller is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Occupational Therapy. Wendy is the Owner and Founder of LKPress- OTR. Previously employed at Warner Brothers as a Financial Analyst where she spent majority of her day in front of a computer, the daily wear and tear of the position caused Wendy to develop severe tendonitis in her hands, wrists and elbows. She was told she was unable to return to any work involving significant amounts of fine motor type positions and inspired by her own disability issues, Wendy embarked on a career in occupational therapy. She now owns and operates LKPress-OTR. LKPress-OTR is driven to working with individuals seeking ways to help them overcome the barriers preventing them from properly engaging in everyday activities.
As Owner and Founder, Wendy specializes in occupational therapy, rehabilitation, sensory integration, healthcare, home care, leadership and more. In this capacity, she has worked with all kinds of people including students, adults and seniors in a variety of settings. Recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year, Wendy maintains affiliation with the American Occupational Therapy, California Occupational Therapy Association, Founders Card and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is also active in AOTA's political action committee called AOTPAC. Outside of work, she enjoys writing, reading and watching movies. Wendy holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Southern California. She earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy as well as her second Master’s degree in Communications with a focus in Online Communities. Throughout the course of her undergraduate career, she attained her Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of San Diego as well as a Bachelor’s Certificate in Music Management. Looking into the future, Wendy has many new ideas to bring to the occupational therapy industry. She is currently in the process of branching out into telemedicine in order to reach more people who need OT services but are unable to get services either because they are too far away from services or there is an obstacle that is preventing them from obtaining services. She strives to help everybody she can, and to bring aid to those who so desperately need it. For more information, please visit www.lkpressotr.com.
