Carol Porter is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Non-Profit Management as a result of her role as Manager with the Wounded Warrior Project in Colorado Springs. Founded in 2002, the Wounded Warrior Project is one of the nation’s leading non-profit organizations raising awareness and offering direct services and programs catered to the needs of injured military service personnel.

Throughout the years, the Wounded Warrior Project has become one of the best known military organizations to date. The recipient of the National Association of Professional Women’s VIP Woman of The Year distinction, Carol’s areas of concentration include: community outreach, organization, volunteer management, program development, leadership development, fundraising and more. Before seeking her position with the Wounded Warrior Project, Carol worked as a nurse for over twenty years, and now she dedicates her time to giving back to those who need it most.
