 Debria Doherty is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Accounting as a result of her role as President of Doherty & Associates, Inc. Chosen as a 2014 finalist for Best Accounting Firm in Delaware by Readers of The News Journal, Doherty & Associates was founded in 2001 by Debria Doherty and specializes in corporate accounting and personalized financial services customized for both individuals and businesses alike.

 In this capacity, Debria’s areas of expertise include bookkeeping, business development and management, business and tax planning, cost accounting, consulting, operations management, strategic planning, team building and more. Recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Woman of The Year for her success and business acumen, Debria is an esteemed member of the Maryland Society of Accountants, Delaware State Chamber, Association of Builders and Contractors and the Delaware Real Estate Investors Association. Outside of the office, she enjoys interior decorating, tennis and theatre.

Additionally, Debria is passionate about giving back to local charities and is the founder of Tender Hearts, a charity created to help children such as homeless, medical, better home environments and other necessities. Throughout the course of her collegiate career, Debria graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Journalism.
