Michael R. McFarren

Michael R. McFarren is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Systems Engineering. Michael is a Senior Principal Enterprise Architecture with MITRE Corporation. Michael is currently responsible for Enterprise Architecture, Research and Development, as well as Systems Engineering. In addition, he is a member of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronic Association and the Association for Enterprise Integration. As a result of his knowledge and dedication within Enterprise Architecture, Michael has been recognized with the MITRE Corporation President’s Award, as well as Top Projects of MITRE 2006. Michael earned his Ph.D. in Information Technology from George Mason University, and also holds a M.B.A. from the University of North Dakota. Furthermore, Michael received his M.S. in Technology & Operation Research from the Air Force Institute and also holds a B.S. in Chemistry and Education from Perdue University. In addition to his collegiate education and role with MITRE, Michael served in the United States Air Force on Active Duty as a Lt. Colonel from 1977-1998.
