Thelma E. Lucky is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Food Service as a result of her role as Owner of Thelma’s Down Home Cooking. In business for the past six years, Thelma’s Down Home Cooking is a soul food restaurant comprised of Thelma’s delicious menu of recipes. In this capacity, her areas of expertise include: cooking, food service management, food preparation, management and menu development; as well as the oversight of operations of the restaurant. Outside of work, Thelma enjoys boating, shopping and spending time with her friends and family. Passionate about giving back to the community, she hosts a special breakfast for veterans on every Tuesday. She once cooked for a welcome home dinner for 700 veterans and retired military members. Throughout the course of her studies, Thelma studied Business Administration at Southwest Business College.
