Hazel Marie Barmore Wiegert

Hazel Marie Barmore Wiegert is recognized by Continental Who’s Who in the field of Healthcare as a result of her role as a Registered Nurse at Hennepin County Medical Center. As Minnesota’s premier level 1 adult trauma center and level 1 pediatric trauma center comprised of several nationally accredited programs and specializations, Hennepin County Medical Center is a local leader in healthcare conveniently located in downtown Minneapolis with multiple clinics throughout the area.

A registered nurse with over forty years of hands on experience, Hazel’s areas of concentration include healthcare management, patient care, post anesthesia nursing and ambulatory perianesthesia. In addition, she is a member of the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses, Transcultural Nursing Society, Nurses Christian Fellowship and the Minnesota-Dakotas Society of Perianesthesia Nurses. Furthermore, Hazel holds certification as a Post Anesthesia Nurse and as an Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse. In her spare time, she enjoys iconography, quilting and volunteers at Central Lutheran Church. Graduating from Augsburg College with both her Master’s degree in Transcultural Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Hazel received a diploma in Nursing from the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing.
