John A. Hagins, Jr., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Legal Services as a result of his role as Managing Partner of Covington, Patrick, Hagins, Stern & Lewis, P.A. As South Carolina’s primary litigation-only boutique, Covington, Patrick, Hagins, Stern & Lewis is a leader in an array of legal matters with a staff comprised of seasoned attorneys ready to take on all of your needs. A founding member of the Board of Directors of the Charleston School of Law, John’s areas of specialty include business litigation, personal injury and products liability.

With over four decades of experience, he was the only lawyer to serve as President of both the South Carolina Bar Association and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association concurrently. Furthermore, John is on the Partnership Board of Directors of the University Of South Carolina School Of Law and is the co-author of the South Carolina Bar “Standards of Professional Responsibility”. He maintains an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and enjoys skiing and boating in his free time.
