Wendy Evans Wurlitzer is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Non-Profit
Organization. Wendy is the Finance Vice President of the National Society of Colonial Dames. A national leader in historic preservation, restoration and interpretation of archival sites that shaped America, the National Society of Colonial Dames is an unincorporated association comprised of 44 corporate societies with over 15,000 members with proven dedication to keep the appreciation alive for those who helped form and develop the United States. In the industry since 1980, Wendy is a well-versed professional specializing in the areas of accounting and banking, financial analysis as well as German and French language and literature.
A testament to her successes, she was chosen as a recipient of the 2015-2016 NAPW VIP Woman of The Year and maintains affiliation with the National Society of Colonial Dames of America, National Association of Professional Women and the Pabst Mansion. In addition to her busy schedule, Wendy makes the time to be involved in community activities as well. She is the current Director of the German American Heritage Foundation and the Treasurer of the Old Dominion Theatre Organ Society. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, yoga, tennis and playing piano. Throughout the course of her educational career, Wendy received her Master of Arts in German Language and Literature from Marquette University as well as her undergraduate degree in German from Lewis & Clark College, where she graduated Cum Laude.
