Nupur Ghoshal, M.D., Ph.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Medicine. Dr. Ghoshal is a Neurologist and Assistant Professor at Washington University School of Medicine. She began working for Washington University School of Medicine seven years ago, where she focuses on clinical trials for Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. In addition to her research, Dr. Ghoshal teaches residents, medical students and premedical students at the university. A testament to her success and drive, Dr. Ghoshal has presented her work at various meetings and conferences. Throughout the course of her career, her work has been showcased at the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), International Conference on Alzheimer’s disease (ICAD), and Society for Neuroscience (SFN) meetings.
Board Certified in Neurology, Dr. Ghoshal maintains affiliations with AMA, AOA, AAN, SFN and Sigma Xi. Dr. Ghoshal initially began her education with an undergraduate degree in Genetics from Iowa State University. She then attained her Medical degree from Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University as well as a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology also at Northwestern University. She completed her Residency in Neurology at Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital. During the course of her Dementia Fellowship at Washington University, Dr. Ghoshal received both the Poletsky and Kopolow Awards for exceptional dementia care and research.
