Her professional title is Certified Autism Specialist and Owner of Your Autism Solutions Center of Minnesota, Inc. Your Autism Solutions Center of MN provides the necessary resources, information and additional support to families affected by autism. Kathy has been working with children with Autism 1994. Affected by the children and driven by her passion to further help and understand, she went back to school to continue her education to better understand their abilities and challenges. In business for seven years, Kathy is certified in Autism Spectrum Disorders and specializes in special education and behavioral modification. She works with children in the areas of attention training, neurofeedback counseling, building social skills, creating friendships and perspective taking. A member of the Autism Society of Minnesota, IBCCEF and the National Association of Professional Women, Kathy maintains affiliations with Psychology Today, Family Pathways and various charities that help the homeless. Heavily knowledgeable in the industry, Kathy holds a Master of Arts degree in Special Education in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology.
