Cheryl Gysegem, RNC-OB, B.S.N., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Consulting. Her current role is Legal Nurse Consultant. In the healthcare industry as a Registered Nurse for 28 years, Cheryl has been in her current role as a legal nurse consultant for over four years. Inspired by her daughters, she was motivated to channel her healthcare expertise into legal nurse consulting. Cheryl specializes in medical cost projections and legal nurse consulting services in obstetrics, cardiology, electrophysiology and medical and surgical nursing. She states that the key to her success is that she is first and foremost interested in her work and driven to “uncover the truth.” To further her professional development, Cheryl’s professional memberships include the American Nurses Association, the Association of Women’s Health, the Obstetrical and Neonatal Nurses, the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, the American College of Forensic Examiner’s Institute, the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants and the National Association of Professional Women. When not working, she enjoys biking, photography and traveling in her free time. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (Magna Cum Laude) from Ohio University as well as a second Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Arts with a minor in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph’s College. She also maintains her certification in Inpatient Obstetrics through the National Certification Center. Certified as a Legal Nurse Consultant through the Vicki Milazzo Institute, Cheryl is currently pursuing a certification in Forensic Nursing.
