Rae Luskin is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Coaching and Consulting.
Rae is the Owner and Founder of Art & Soul Connection and The Winning Adventure. A leader in utilizing creative expression to foster self-worth, resilience, healing, and social change.
With over 30 years of experience in improving the lives of women and children, Rae has devoted her career to preventing abuse across the lifeline with the National Council of Jewish Women and Jewish Community Abuse Response, Education, Solutions (JCARES). She speaks to organizations about mindset, the power of gratitude and forgiveness in turning challenges into opportunities. She shares her artwork and personal story of healing from childhood sexual abuse to give a voice to the voiceless and offer hope to those who suffer in silence. “If I can do it, so can you.” The author of “Art from My Heart” and “The Creative Activist: Make the World Better, One Person, One Action at a Time,” Rae was nominated for the Beauty In Beauty Out (BIBO) Award, is a Women of Distinction Award Winner and was the 2016 Recipient of the Benjamin Franklin Gold Award for inspiration, her book “The Creative Activist: Make the World Better, One Person, One Action at a Time.” The Creative Activist includes 36 stories of people who have used their gifts and talents, imagination, and creative thinking to make a difference in the lives of their families, community and the world.
Each story is followed with three personal development questions and a take-action step. She believes creative activism is a lifestyle. When you activate your innate creativity you can apply it to every area of your life and can transform the world around you. Rae’s mission is to engage, educate and empower one million creative activists. She deeply believes that our stories matter, that what we do matters, and when we connect and work together we have the power to positively impact our lives and heal the world. She is a big picture thinker and absolutely loves to encourage, motivate and inspire people to have more fulfilling and meaningful lives. She adores helping her clients discover who they really are through a creative visioning process. She holds a container of loving support while they answer the tough questions, ‘Who am I?’ How can I use my gifts, talents and treasures in service?’ “What is the legacy I would like to leave?” With a proven track record, she has helped thousands find their passion, rediscover their voice, and infuse their lives with more vitality, creativity and purpose. Rae hosted the first Creative Activist's Virtual Summit, with 21 guest experts coming together to explore the intersection of social issues and creative expression; reflect different perspectives, share their challenges and successes, support and inspire, bring hope and joy to those who need it.
It is an opportunity and an invitation for community leaders, educators, service providers, creatives and change agents to hear new and innovative ideas and discover collaborative partners to support their work and dreams. “Through creative expression we uplift the human spirit and awaken social consciousness. Art has the power to open hearts and minds, initiate new dialogues and move people from apathy to action. Through sharing our authentic voice, our stories and visions, we will build new models of what is possible and ignite global change. “I envision a world in which men and women work together as equal partners to secure better lives for their families. In this world the resources used for war, violence, drugs and human trafficking are now invested in human potential, gender equality and social justice.
All women have equal rights, and equal access to justice, power, resources and opportunities; they are free from violence and discrimination; they are free to make decisions about their health, sexuality and bodies; they enjoy equal pay for equal work; have free access to education and an equal voice in leadership.
In fact all human beings are treated with dignity, respect and compassion.” Community partners have said that her commitment to the issue of preventing abuse across the lifeline in our society is enduring and her energy toward that goal boundless... Because her viewpoint is filtered through an artistic lens, she continually offers ideas that are both innovative and creative...She is strong and articulate and can lead her cause...Her work has the potential to prevent abuse and broken hearts across the world.
