Judith K. Brown, Ph.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Higher
Education. Dr. Brown is a Professor at the University of Arizona.
Founded in 1885, the University of Arizona is home to hundreds of undergraduate and graduate degree programs within twenty colleges and eleven schools throughout three campuses. In addition to excellent education programs, the University of Arizona is a global leader in research and is comprised of more than $606 million in research investment each year. Possessing nearly 30 years of experience, Dr. Brown has been an instructor at the University of Arizona since 1998. Her areas of expertise include all facets of plant pathology, plant virology research, insect vectors and more.
Dr. Brown also has experience teaching international students from all walks of life. An esteemed Fellow of the American Phytopathological Society and American Association for the Advancement of Science, Dr. Brown remains an active member of the Entomological Society of America and American Society for Virology. Heavily knowledgeable in the industry, Dr. Brown earned her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology with a specialty in Plant Virology at the University of Arizona following her Master’s degree in Plant Pathology-Virology from Washington State University. Dr. Brown initially began her educational career with a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Texas A&M University. Outside of work, Dr. Brown enjoys cooking, gardening, and fine wines.
