 Rev. Sandra A. Johnson is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her contributions to the Funeral Services industry. Rev. Johnson’s professional title is Manager and Funeral Director at Cobbs Funeral Chapels, which specializes in pre-planning and funeral services.

She has worked in this role for the past six years, and brings extensive expertise in the area of supporting families though the funeral process, to her role. “Cobbs Funeral Chapels is a family-owned firm founded by the late Winston H.B. Cobbs Sr. in 1963,” the funeral home’s website states. “Humanitarian and neighborhood philanthropist, he was driven by his community, namely East Elmhurst in Queens, New York. His legacy and commitment to families continues after extensive renovation and upgrades of the facility by his son and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Winston H.B. Johnson’s job duties include serving families during their time of need, consultations conveniently scheduled in-home, and providing education seminars and pre-planning services for both individuals and organizations.

 

In addition to her work with Cobbs Funeral Chapels, Rev. Johnson serves as an Associate Minister at QCC/Destiny Cathedral. She attended the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in 2005, where she studied Mortuary Science, and then completed courses in Biblical and Theological Studies at Nyack College in 2016. To further her professional development, Rev. Johnson is a member of her local Kiwanis Club and the National Association of Professional Women. When not working, she enjoys reading the Bible and other spiritual books, as well as various pampering-related activities. Rev.
