Cynthia K. Anderson

 Cynthia K. Anderson is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Government Administration.

Cynthia is the Division Manager and Director of Chicago Collections with the Illinois Department of Revenue. The Illinois Department of Revenue serves as the tax collection agency for state government and for local governments. The department regulates the manufacture, distribution, and sale of alcoholic beverages. The department also oversees local property tax assessments, and functions as the funding agent for the Illinois Housing Development Authority. As Director of Collections, Cynthia is responsible for collections for the state of Illinois, and she works closely with project management, oversight of bankruptcies, the sale unit, as well as liquor and gaming licenses. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, and is involved with her local church, public radio, the Lincoln Park Zoo, and the Art Institute of Chicago.

A testament to her success, Cynthia was honored with the title of Woman of The Year by NAPW, and has chosen to dedicate this recognition in memory of her parents, Wilbert D. Anderson and Dolores Anderson for their love and support. Aside from the demands of work, Cynthia enjoys history, reading, travel, knitting, quilting, and making jewelry. Cynthia received her Master’s degree in Computer Science from De Paul University, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
