Laura Findeiss

 Laura Findeiss, M.D., FSIR, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare.

 Dr. Findeiss is the Chairman of Radiology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The region’s only academic medical center, Magnet® recognized hospital and Level I Trauma Center, the University of Tennessee Medical Center is a 609-bed facility serving the community with top tier healthcare services. Amassing 11 years of experience, Dr. Findeiss is responsible for providing timely and compassionate care as well as maintaining education programs for the university.

 Her current duties include the oversight of the radiology department, consulting with physicians and staff and providing innovative, high quality imaging services. Specializing in internal medicine, interventional radiology and medical imaging, Dr. Findeiss is a member of the American Heart Association, American College of Radiology, Society of Interventional Radiology and NAPW. Recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year, Dr. Findeiss attained her Medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her Residency at the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at the Virginia Mason Medical Center and Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology along with her American Board of Radiology Certificate of Added Qualification from the University of Washington School of Medicine.

 

 Possessing certification as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation through ARDMS, Dr. Findiess began her educational career with a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University.
