Julie Humphries

Continental Who’s Who recognizes Julie Humphries as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her contributions to the Finance field. Humphries’ professional title is Senior Partner at Mercer, LLC, which specializes in health and benefits; wealth and investments; and mergers and acquisitions, according to the company’s website. “I currently serve as a Senior Partner and Global Client Manager at Mercer LLC, a global consulting leader in health, wealth and careers,” Humphries said. “As Global Client Manager, I lead the delivery of human resources and strategy consulting services to a broad base of domestic and multinational clients, with experience within a number of industries.

Prior to this current role, I was the leader of Mercer’s U.S. Central Market, leading the deployment of all services to Mercer’s clients in the Central United States.” “I am an innovative leader and creative thinker who helps organizations achieve business success through people,” Humphries said. Previously, Humphries worked as U.S. Central Market Leader, also at Mercer, LLC, where she led sales and was responsible for delivery of all Mercer services to clients in the Central part of the U.S.

Before joining the team at Mercer, Humphries worked as a Senior Finance Executive at Bank of America for six years; and as Principal at Towers Perrin for eight years. She cultivated her skills in the areas of leadership, management consulting, employee benefits, HR consulting and mergers and acquisitions. At Bank of America, Humphries’ “responsibilities included operational and financial management of the global compensation and benefits plans and support of the product development and channel distribution strategies.” In her prior position at Towers Perrin, she “implemented training and rewards programs for Client Managers globally.”

 

Humphries earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia in 1984. She then went on to complete his Master’s degree in Education, Mathematics and Actuarial Science from Georgia State University in 2003. Additionally, she is a Certified Associate of the Society of Actuaries. To further her professional development, Humphries is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
