Lorraine D’Angelo, Esq., CCEP, LPEC

Lorraine D’Angelo, Esq., CCEP, LPEC is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Consulting field. D’Angelo’s professional title is Owner/President/CEO at LDA Compliance Consulting, Inc. She brings expertise in legal and regulatory risk compliance, as well as 30 years of career experience, to her role. LDA Compliance Consulting “specializes in solution-oriented, preventative corporate ethics and compliance program design, assessment, auditing, monitoring, investigations and training,” according to its website. D’Angelo is a “former C-Suite executive with proven success in leading regulatory compliance and risk management, and is experienced in the function, design and implementation of ‘best practice’ integrity programs.”

Prior to founding LDA Compliance Consulting, D’Angelo “was the Senior Vice President, Ethics & Compliance, for Dragados USA, Inc., and the Ethics and Corporate Compliance Officer/Counsel for Shiavone Construction Co. LLC, John P. Picone Incorporated and Pulice Construction, all subsidiaries of Madrid-based Grupo ACS, a global construction contraction,” her company bio reads. D’Angelo earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in individual and labor relations from Cornell University, and then went on to complete her Juris Doctor from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.

To further her professional development, D’Angelo is currently the co-chair of the Construction and Engineering Group of the Ethical Compliance Officers Association, and co-chair of the Transportation Law Committee of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association.

 

Formerly, D’Angelo was a member of the Women Builders Council (Board of Directors) , Women Construction Owners and Executives (Board of Directors), the General Contractors Association of New York, Associated General Contractors, the Building Trades and Employers Association and the New York Electrical Contractors Association. In addition to her full-time work, D’Angelo is the author of the construction industry chapter of Corporate Compliance Guide: The Next Generation of Compliance, published by Lexis. When not working, D’Angelo devotes her time to GCNY, JRDF and Parkinson’s related charities. She also enjoys travel and spending time with family, and cites Mary Libass as her professional mentor.
