Minx Boren is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a 2017 Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Life Coaching. Boren is
a Master Certified Coach and the CEO of Coach Minx, Inc., her own life coaching and consulting business. Her expertise lies in the areas of coaching, facilitating, writing, and public speaking. “The more I learned, the more coaching became my passion and my calling,” Boren said. “As my experience with individual and group coaching and the power of provocative and positive questions grew, I was invited to bring my work into business and organizational settings as well.
These opportunities in turn led me to study and incorporate such cutting edge technologies as Emotional Intelligence®, Appreciative Inquiry®, Authentic Happiness Coaching®, Art of Convening®, and Conversational Intelligence® in my coaching practice.” According to her website, Boren has previously worked as a nutritionist and cooking teacher, expertise which she now incorporates in her work. She often refers to herself as a healthwise coach. “I enjoy being active and working out,” Boren said. “I love good food – preparing it, eating it, and sharing it. And I am passionate about sharing about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and how to prioritize good practices every day.”
Boren earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in both French and Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania, which she attended from 1962-1966. She went on to do graduate studies in French at New York University from 1966-1968. She has been studying the art and science of coaching for almost 20 years and is credentialed as a Master Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF). In addition to her coaching work, Boren is the published author of more than a dozen books, including ‘Friendship Is a Journey – A celebration of true connection and deep caring’ and ‘Healing Is a Journey –Find your own path to hope, recovery, and wellness.’ Other published books also focus on health and relationships as well as other ways to flourish and live a fulfilling life.
To further her professional development, Boren is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), Leadership Palm Beach County, and Executive Women of the Palm Beaches (EWPB), also serving as its president in 2013-2014. When not working, she volunteers her time supporting health, environmental, and various women’s rights causes. In recognition of her outstanding work, Boren was a 2013 recipient of the Giraffe Award from the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, which recognizes women who stick their necks out for others.
