Eunice M. Butts

Eunice M. Butts is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the fields of both Retail and Veteran’s Affairs. Butts is currently the Founder and Owner of Eunice Enterprise, a retail company that specializes in cosmetics, hats, and jewelry, and additionally, offers a medical seating service which provides healthcare resource and doctors to people in need of them.

The company is based in Tampa, Florida and operates regionally. Although she has over 25 years of retail experience under her belt, Butts’ true passion is helping veterans and others in need. Now considered a disabled veteran, Butts served for 15 years in the U.S. Air Force. She spends much of her time and resources advocating for veteran assistance nationwide through events that she hosts and/or co-hosts and oversees home sitting services for people with Alzheimer’s.

Butts is also involved with coordinating programs, scholarships, grants and benefits for The American Legion, one of the largest organizations in the world. Some organizations that she is affiliated with through her military and community involvement include; the National Honor Society of Women Legionnaires (American Legion Post No. 167), Heroines of Jericho, the Order of the Eastern Star, and she also serves as the State of Florida’s director for the VIP Women Legionnaires 20-4 Honor Society. Additionally, she has been recognized by the National Association of Professional Women, and she serves as a National 24 representative of James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital. Butts has received numerous honors and awards for her work with the community and for her veteran status.

 

She was honored by her local Postal Auxiliary with a Lifetime Achievement Award, and also received the 2015 Black Pearl Award from TME Trinity Church. According to www.floridalegion.org, women who are awarded the Black Pearl award are women who, “like a Black Pearl are described as “extremely rare,” “strong,” “The Pearl of Queens,” a symbol of “ hope for wounded hearts”, “truth”, “wisdom,”” healing” and “life.”” Butts is also recipient of award from The Imperial Daughters of Isis for her hard work and dedication in the community.
