Rhonda C. Pugh, LTC

Rhonda C. Pugh, LTC (Lieutenant Colonel) is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her service to the United States Army. Pugh serves as the Director of Manpower and Personnel for the Army National Guard. Her areas of expertise lie in national security and government operations, and she brings over 25 years or career experience to her role.

During her tenure in the military, Pugh has served as a logistic officer (light and medium trucking company, marine terminal operations, transportation traffic manager), a public affairs commander, a future planning program analyst, an equal opportunity officer, a recruiting marketing manager, a comptroller executive officer and a deputy personnel branch chief.

Previously, Pugh held a position at Solomon Mortgage, and has also published a book titled The Potluck Blueprint. “The Potluck Blueprint is a contemporary resource for Christian gatherings that will elevate the conversation and support the bonding that naturally happens when folks break bread and share testimonies,” Pugh said. “The format of this divinely inspired book will encourage conversations about topics that range from career development, marriage and childrearing, to domestic abuse, foster care and learning disabilities. Pugh earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies, as well as Public Speaking/ Finance Logistics, from Norfolk State University in 1991. To further her professional development, she is a member of the National Guard Association, the National Association of Professional Women and is President of Capital Guardian International. When not working, Pugh volunteers her time to the First Baptist Church, and enjoys cooking, painting and writing. She cites her triplet daughters as her inspiration.
