Swift earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Bowling Green State University. She then went on to complete her Master of Science degree in Administration with a specialization in Healthcare from Central Michigan University, and then completed a 12-month internship at St. Vincent Medical Center. To further her professional development, Swift is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. When not working, she volunteers her time to a number of area soup kitchens and the ASPCA. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with family.
