Mark A.F. Knight, MD

Mark A.F. Knight, M.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare as a result of his role as Owner and Plastic Surgeon at International Surgery Centers. An esteemed surgeon with twenty years of experience, Dr. Knight has been in practice since 2005.

Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Knight served in the United States Navy as surgeon for Marine Corps at Base Camp Pendleton before retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Commander in 2005. Fast forward to present, Dr. Knight is extremely well-versed in the areas of: general, cosmetic, reconstructive and plastic surgeries in addition to various trauma surgeries.

In addition, Dr. Knight specializes in aesthetic urologic and gynecologic surgery. Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery as well as in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Knight is the 2007 Recipient of The State University of New York Educational Opportunity Program Honor Award for Outstanding Achievement as an Alumni.

Furthermore, he was selected for National Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals in 2003 and was included in the 1985 edition of “Who’s Who Among American High School Students.” Dr. Knight received his Medical degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He completed his Internship at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center and underwent Residency training in General Surgery at Health Sciences Center of Brooklyn in New York.
