Catharine Buttinger Fedeli, M.D., Ph.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Medical field in recognition of her role as a Psychiatrist at Fedeli MD. She is also a former neurosurgeon, and previously worked at Columbia University, New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York State Psychiatric Institute, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Jacobi Hospital, Albert Einstein Hospital and Montefiore Hospital. Board certified in Psychiatry, Dr. Fedeli earned her Baccalaureate of Science degree from ShuldorfBergstrasse, Seeheim, with a grade of A.
She went on to earn her Medical degree from RuprechtKarls University Medical School in Heidelberg, Germany, with a grade of A+. She then completed her Ph.D. in Medicine, Neurosurgery, Brain physiology, Cerebral Blood Flow and Stroke, also from RuprechtKarls University, with a Summa Cum Laude designation. In recognition of her outstanding field accomplishments, Dr. Fedeli earned the following awards and honors: Leading Physician of the World and Top Doctor by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals, 2015; Patient Choice Award by Vitals, 2015; Talk of Town and Excellence and Patient Satisfaction from Celebration Media US, 2015; America’s Top Psychiatrist from 2003-2015; Best Doctor from 1996-present; Group for Advancement of Psychiatry Fellow, 1987; and the Columbia University Horowitz Alumni Award for Clinical Excellence, 1988. To further her professional development, Dr. Fedeli is a member of both AMA and APA. When not working, she enjoys gardening, pilates and skiing.
