Cresenia Sonia Camcam, RN, BN, MICN

Cresenia Sonia Camcam, R.N., B.N., MICN, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Nursing. Harbor-UCLA Medical Center was established in 1946, and is one of only five level one trauma centers in Los Angeles County, and serves as a major academic teaching hospital. According to its website, its “mission, vision and guiding principles are statements of who [we] are, who [we] plan to be and how we relate and support each other in the delivery of quality healthcare to our patients.” Born in the Philippines and now a United Stated Citizen, Camcam has amassed over 35 years in the nursing field.

“I am very dedicated, and have a good relationship with staff and have a good rapport with everyone,” Camcam said. Camcam serves as a Registered Nurse at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Her expertise lies in the areas of community health, general nursing, emergency room nursing, nursing supervision and rehabilitation nursing. Throughout the course of her education, Camcam earned her Pre-Nursing degree in Benguet in the Philippines. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of the Philippines in 1977.

Later, Camcam earned her Registered Nurse designation as well as her Mobile Intensive Care Nurse, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications. As a testament to her outstanding work in the field, Camcam received the Outstanding R.N. Award for Los Angeles in 2004. When not working, she enjoys both sports and dancing.
