Pearl Dahm is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her work as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of California – San Diego Health System. Established since November 2016, The University of San Diego NICU “offers prompt access to neonatal specialists 24 hours a day, every day.” “It has all private rooms and the most advanced, least invasive technologies for [the hospital’s] tiniest patients. The private rooms are designed to encourage a high-touch environment for newborns and their parents and to conform to best practices for reducing infection risk.”
Amassing over 36 years of experience and 23 years in her current role, Dahm serves as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner through the University of California – San Diego Health System. Her expertise lies in the areas of neonatal ICU (NICU) operations and teaching. She also serves on the faculty at UC San Diego. Additionally, the hospitals “NICU nurses welcome telephone calls from parents, and [we] are always happy to provide information about the care and condition of your baby.”
Throughout the course of her education and training, Dahm earned her Master of Science degree from Loma Linda University. To further her professional development, she is a member of NANN, AWhonn, and the Academy of Neonatal Nurses. When not working, Dahm enjoys going to the spa, exercising, walking, going to the movies, travel and reading. She dedicates this recognition to her husband, Jerry; her sisters; her nephews and nieces; and to all of the physicians and peers she works with at the UC San Diego NICU.
