Henry Rose is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member as a 2017 Legacy Lawyer at Conner & Winters. Established since 1933 in the heart of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Conner & Winters specializes in banking, real estate, trust, probate, estate planning and the rapidly expanding field of oil and gas law. According to the website, at the end of World War II, the firm expanded into, “litigation, income, estate and gift taxation law, estate planning and corporate finance.” Attorney at Conner & Winters, Rose specializes in multiple facets of law especially those of employee benefits. Prior to joining the team of attorneys at Conner & Winters, Rose served as an attorney in private practice for 27 years, from 1985-2012, and also served as the Former Chair of the ABA Joint Committee on Employee Benefits. Additionally, he served as an Associate Professor at the University Of Toledo College Of Law from 1956-1057 and at Rutgers University Law School from 1958-1962. Throughout the course of his education and training, Rose earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Buffalo.
He then went on to complete his Juris Doctor – Cum Laude from the University of Buffalo Law School, where he earned the distinction of Sterling Fellow and served as the Associate Editor of Buffalo Law Review. To further his professional development, Rose is a member of both the D.C. and New York State Bar Associations. He is also affiliated with the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia – Second Third, Fourth, Sixth, Ninth and Tenth Circuits; the U.S. District Court – Western and Southern Districts of New York; and the U.S. District Court – Western District of Tennessee. Additionally, Rose was the Associate Solicitor for Legislation and Legal Council for the U.S. Department of Labor from 1970-1975, and served as General Counsel for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation from 1974-1984.
